Introducing a New Series.......

In The Frame!

This is a new series I will be doing regularly on my blog and its a piece from the client!

I give them a questionnaire and they tell me in their own words what having a photoshoot was like, what they were nervous about, how did I help them, how did they need to prepare etc.

Everything you need to know should you be thinking about booking a portrait session with me!

You can see behind the scenes photos and get all the goss straight from the client.

I can go on and on about what a photoshoot is like with me, but really you want to know what its like on the other side of the camera and this series will open that up for you!

So to start us of we have the wonderful Nisha and Vijay from Luton who had their second newborn shoot with me. Over to Nisha!

So why did you choose to have a professional photoshoot?

To have memories which will last a lifetime created by a professional so the standard is high.

What worries of yours did I address before the shoot?

As Leonie has stopped bringing the studio set up I was worried we wouldn’t be able to get the same photos we had created for our first baby but Leonie assured us that we could by using a plain wall instead.

How did you prepare for the photoshoot?

Leonie did not ask for any specific prep but I made a Pinterest board and sent it to her so we both knew which shots we wanted on the day. I also arranged all of our outfits and rearranged the room we would shoot in to save time in the day.

How did you feel once I arrived for your photoshoot?

Instantly at ease. Seeing Leonie again after 2 years brought back so many memories of having a relaxed and calm photo shoot.

How did your children react to me?

The newborn was chilled with Leonie and my toddler was very receptive to her gentle directions during certain poses I wanted capturing.

What did I do that helped you to relax?

Leonie was friendly and brought a sense of calmness to a stressful situation.

How did we get the shots for the day, did I direct you (and did you like that) or did we let things naturally take their course (and did you like that?)

It was a bit of both and we as a family appreciated that flexibility.

How long did you have to wait for your images?

Less then 14 days

Were you happy with the outcome and why?

Very pleased with the two sibling photos we definitely got the ‘money shot’!

Would you recommend me to anyone?

Yes  I already did after the first photo shoot and they used you!

What advice would you give someone thinking of booking a professional photoshoot?

Be very clear on what you intend to get out of the shoot and anything else the photographer would need to know eg feeding times child’s temperament etc.

If you are thinking about booking a family portrait photoshoot, then do not hesitate to get in contact. I travel a 20mile radius from Luton, Bedfordshire.
